Poker finances 18 July 2009.
The first update of the year as I haven’t been playing more than a handful of competitions so far. Good start to the year with a third place in the £200+20 Pot-Limit Omaha at International’s London Poker Masters for a £1430 payday. Take away £40 in tips for the dealers and £226 in entrance and fees and that first comp left me with a bankroll of £1164 to set me up for the rest of the year.
I’m glad to see the Omaha back once a month at The International from August (one Friday a month, good structure and £100 entrance suits me well) as I have dropped over 200 quid in Holdem at the club with no return. I also stupidly entered (as I really was too tired to play) the £150 round-of-each (PLO/PLHE) at The Vic on Friday and somehow managed to get halfway through the field with no cards and crap play before busting out (so many opportunities to steal pots in PLHE).
Online I’m my usual crap self having dropped £75 (a drop over six months so I am not fussed).
As of Wednesday 18 July 2010.
- Live Tournaments. Winnings: +£1430 Staked: 0 Entrance fees: -£704 Tips: -£40. Overall: +£686
- Live Cash. £0
- Online. Cashouts:£0. Deposits: £75. Overall: -£75
- Bottom line: +£611
